Designed and developed by Copperfield, The Anchor Village is an active life-style facility for the over 55s.

The development involves the construction of 34 one and two bedroom apartments; this complex will be called the Anchorage. The building has been carefully designed to reflect the traditional architecture of the existing buildings. Communal facilities and the guest suite is located on the penthouse floor.

The Victorian buildings of the existing Old Anchor Brewery are being faithfully restored to provide annex accommodation, this includes; Six Mews Houses - The Maltings, Two Cottages - The Hop Store and Six Apartments – The Old Brewery.

The overall theme of the village will be Victorian Industrial; this will be reflected in the street furniture: lighting, seating, railings and gates. Creative landscaping will provide an interesting environment of shrubbery, rockeries, mature trees and plants.
